Elephant Dance
Elephants played a crucial role in battle during the war in the Bagan period. Mahoots would form a relationship with the Elephants and train them. The elephant dance is the most popular at Karaweik Palace as the huge size of the costume is skillfully moved by dancers inside. This performance features military chants and the swordsmanship of the Bagan army.
